Worked quite well at first, being fast and accurate (I compared results with dedicated devices). It stopped working after a few other locations, being stuck in displaying "Loading" for minutes...

Would like the ability to drop a marker showing elevation at various locations.

I decided to take a look at this app again to see what my elevation is. So far without moving my phone from the table my elevation has increased by 14.

Hello. Ive been using this app for a long time and its great. Would you consider making it CarPlay compliant? For those of us who live in the mountains, it would be really handy to have an altimeter built into the dashboard.

I always liked this app and used it often to check my current elevation. The ads always annoyed me but there was no way to get rid if them. This update allows you to pay $.99 to be ad free. I gladly paid that to support the developer and be rid of ads. If you dont mind the ads, you can continue using as is. Thats a nice option to have.

Ive compared the app readings to topo maps. The app was was a consistent 4 feet higher....because I was holding it 4 feet off the ground! Dead on. A great app for calculating % grade on hills.

Great app! Compared to my Garmin and it was within .5 ft. Impressed

Great little app to have when hiking and walking in urban areas. Ive always liked topographical maps and now I can Better estimate elevation gains in my city.

Its not to bad. Pretty accurate. Though, was going over the Newport Bridge here in Rhode Island, and it started to read negative feet. Pretty sure I wasnt going through a tunnel!! Now I am looking for a GOOD altimeter if anyone knows of one!!!!

This is a pretty cool app. I ride my skateboard to and from work and school. So this is a helpful app to know which are the best (downhill) routes. But I wish I didnt have to physically BE at a certain place to know its elevation. I wish that, like in google maps, I could "drop a pin" and see the elevation at that point. A "history" would be nice. Also, "bookmarks," please.

Works great. Didnt want anything more than my elevation, and this app does just that.

In two years Ive had it it never worked

Just updated it on Sunday May 6, 2012. Since that update the app no longer functions. The app just spins and spins. Why us this happening?

52nd floor Prudential bldg. app shows 25 feet. Does not work

At 10,000ft and counting!

This app is doing a great job even while driving. I think the poster in the office building is simply confused about what the app is measuring. Whether you were on the 52nd floor or the 100th floor the elevation of the earth below you doesnt change. If the building is on land at 25 feet above sea level, thats what the Apple tell you.

This app is amazing. Superbly efficient at displaying advertisements, while terrifically worthless at providing elevation information. Keep up the great work!

After downloading it worked fine. Now it doesnt work at all and I guess I will have to erase and download again. What a pain.

Cool app for those of us who need 2 kno elevation 4 medical reasons!
